Some memories deserve to last forever.

Let me freeze that special moment of yours for generations to come.

IT BEGINS WITH A MOMENT

Life brims with those breath-catching moments

They make you stop, hush the world, and drink everything in. We snap a quick photo to hold them close, yet the picture rarely carries the warmth and heartbeat we felt in that instant.

AND TURNS INTO A FAMILY TREASURE

The best art is the kind that looks lived in.

If you are anything like me, life sometimes rushes by in a blur, and you just want to press pause and linger in a single heartbeat of it. That's what I aim for with every brushstroke--slowing time so a moment can breathe on the canvas. I'd love to do the same for you

WHY I MIGHT NOT BE YOUR GIRL

Having a commission piece created is a beautiful way to capture a meaningful moment or a special person, transforming them into a piece of art that can be treasured for generations. However, my approach is a bit different from the typical portrait artist. If you're looking for a formal, posed portrait-- the kind where everyone is in their Sunday best, smiling perfectly for the camera-- I might not be the best fit. You'd be better off working with a talented family photographer for that style.

My heart is in capturing more than just a likeness. I want to capture a feeling-- the essence of a person, the warmth of a memory, the subtle emotions that make a moment unforgettable. These are what I call "lifestyle portraits". They might capture the fleeting magic of a couple sharing a quiet kiss, a father meeting his child for the first time, a mother gently brushing her daughter's hair, or a baby nestled peacefully in your arms.

Often, the snapshops we take quickly on our phones-- the ones that capture the real, unplanned and imperfect moments--end up being the most treasured. They hold an honesty and warmth that can't be posed. That's the kind of art I love to creat.

For this reason, I am a bit particular about the commissions I accept. I prefer to work from images that carry this kind of intimacy, ideally taken by someone close to the person in the moment. If you have a favorite candid moment that tugs at your heart, thats what I want to bring to life.

If this sounds like the portrait you're looking for, I'd love to work together. If not, that's perfectly okay--finding the right artist is an important part of the process.

Commission Art Process Steps

These are the steps required for me to paint a commission piece:

01

IMAGE APPROVAL

I try my best to work with the image you most desire to have commissioned. however there are times in which the picture quality may not be high enough to get detail, in which case I will ask for another. There is also the chance that the image won't fall in line with the type of portraits I do, in which case I will again ask for another. I will then need you to send a high resolution and good quality sized digital copy for me to work from.

02

PRICE AGREEMENT

Once we have approved the reference image, we can make sure commission size and price is clear and agreed upon. If we decide to move forward, a deposit of 50% is required.

Use my form to send me some more info about the person being painted. My goal is to not only paint a likeness, but to convey emotion or story, I love to hear a little bit about the person being painted

03

APPROVAL

When the painting is completed I will send the image via email for approval. I am always open to hearing any suggestions or "fixes" and do my best to work with you. However, please know that you are hiring me for my artistry and interpretation.

If you are for some reason (and this has never happened) you are just totally unhappy with my interpretation we will just end the relationship. I will keep the deposit for my work, and you will owe nothing else.

If you are satisfied the remaining balance will be required before shipping.

Timeline

Please be aware that often I am booked many weeks out. turn-around CAN run 12-16 weeks. Normal turn around is 1-3 weeks.

Expected completion date of your project will be discussed (and agreed upon) at the finalization of your order.
